How New Political Development In Kitui Gubernatorials Puts KIEMA on The Pedestal

Kitui gubernatorial contest could be taking a swift turn around that threatens to spell a death kernel for some politicians but not for the popular Amb. Hon KIEMA whose 2022 juggernaut is steaming to victory, according to political pundits.


The contest now puts Malombe, Musila and Mueke squarely on the losers highway giving Amb Hon KIEMA the much needed leeway to clinch the highly contested gubernatorial win in 2022.

The new political development ostensibly tell grapevine that if the 3 running politicians from larger Kitui do not agree to field a single candidate - then Amb. Hon KIEMA Kilonzo will carry the day.

Another factor to consider is that if the incumbent does not defend her seat, then Amb. Hon KIEMA is the only candidate with a regional support across Kitui - putting the technocrat at the pole position.

Rumours have it that the incumbent, who has been hobnobbing with Raila Odinga might at the eleventh hour opt out of the race as she could be seeking a CS position in the possible Raila cabinet in 2022.
