Mike Sonko's New Party Gets Tongues Wagging  By PATRICK KIMANZI  The COUNTY HOT NEWS Former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has declared that he is ready for a major political comeback following the successful registration of his new outfit, the National Economic Development Party (NEDP). Speaking shortly after receiving the party’s full registration certificate at the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties in Nairobi, Sonko said the party would prioritise young leaders and fresh political voices across the country. Sonko, who was impeached by Nairobi MCAs in December 2020, maintained that his removal from office was unlawful and vowed to return to the Supreme Court to seek a review of the decision.
